Getting Ready to Take the Stage

It feels like just yesterday we were starting our 2020-2021 dance season. We all had so many questions: What would this year look like? Would we be able to have a full season with in person classes? Would we be able to have a dance revue? After months of questions and uncertainty, we are finally days away from our dance revues!

With just a few days to go, it's time to start making sure you have everything you need to take the stage!

Get all of your costumes and accessories together. Hang your costumes up in a safe area to make sure you have everything you need. If there's any accessories that go with your costume, put them in a ziploc bag and hang it on the hanger with your costume. Pack some extra elastic and safety pins, too!

Stay healthy. Now - more than ever - it's so important to wash your hands. Use soap and water when you can, but sanitizer is a great option, too. Make sure to drink enough water each day to keep your body hydrated. Eat some yummy, healthy snacks, too!

Make sure you know where everything for revue day is. Double check to make sure all of your dance shoes made it back into your bag after your last class. Do you still have last year's stash of bobby pins? Makeup? Hairspray? If not, make a quick Target run to get some!

Be confident. By now, you're a dance pro and know your dances. Believe in yourself! You've been praciting for months and you're gonna rock the stage! After all...the show must go on!

We are so proud of all of our dancers and everything they have accomplished in this past year! We know it has been challenging at times, but we are grateful for their patience, flexibility, and determination.
