Lori Laumann Weil
Studio Director
Lori has been the owner and director of Creative Dance & Music Studio since 2004. She has 38+ years of teaching experience which began at her mother’s studio, Sissy Laumann Academy of Dance. Over the years, Lori continued her dance studies with many master teachers at conventions and workshops. She continues to do so with her staff, as well as attend business conferences.
Lori earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1989 from the University of New Orleans, and has a background in computer programming/web development. She continues to expand the music programs offered and to develop the studio’s progressive dance syllabus to ensure a quality dance education for all students. When Lori isn’t teaching dance or managing the studio, she loves spending time with her husband and 3 children.
Megan Stansberry
Office Manager, Dance Instructor
Megan is a member of the staff at Creative Dance and Music Studio. She has been dancing since she was two years old. Megan danced and competed with Sissy Laumann Academy of Dance for 15 years. During that time Megan attended many dance conventions and workshops to further her education and was on her high school dance team. In 2005, she graduated as the first Teacher graduate of Creative Dance & Music Studio.
In 2007, she was asked to join the office staff providing Customer Service at the front desk, as well as assisting and subbing for dance teachers. In 2009, she graduated from the University of New Orleans with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in management. Last year, she was offered the position of office manager. She truly enjoys working and dancing with the people of the studio and she knows you will too!

Tiffany Thibodeaux Ballow
Assistant Instructor/Special Events Director
Dana has always loved to watch dancing. She was excited when her daughter, Casey-Lynn, expressed an interest. She enrolled Casey-Lynn in dance in 1999 (at Sissy Laumann Academy of Dance) and has enjoyed every moment. She is an experienced "dance mom" through several years of conventions, competitions and dance performances. When Casey-Lynn graduated in 2013, Lori offered Dana a job and she has not once regretted saying "Yes!" She loves to see all of the young, smiling dancers come in to the studio excited to start a new experience.
Tiffany has studied dance since the age of 2 and has been a part of the competition team with Sissy Laumann Academy of Dance. She earned her Teacher's Certificate and has been a part of our staff since 1989. During college, she performed at Walt Disney World in Florida. Tiffany went on to graduate from the University of New Orleans and receive a Master’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University, and is a former Assistant Principal.
We are thankful to have Tiffany back in Louisiana as she assists with the administrative side of the studio. She is also a caring teacher, often assisting and subbing for other staff members. She loves working with kids and excited to share her love of dance.
Marketing Coordinator
Ashley Hebert
Ashley danced for more than 15 years at a local dance studio and on dance team in high school. She moved to Hattiesburg, Mississippi to study public relations, marketing and nonprofit studies at Southern Miss. While in college, Ashley was a member of Alpha Delta Pi where she served as philanthropy chair. Following graduation, she participated in the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World.
In spring 2017, Ashley moved back home to New Orleans for good. She works in fundraising at Children's Hospital New Orleans. In May 2020, she graduated from the University of New Orleans with her master's degree in public administration with a specialization in nonprofit leadership. Ashley has been part of the CDMS staff since summer 2017 and is very thankful for having a job that allows her to be creative!
