Becoming a Well Rounded Dancer

Middle & High School is a time to find out who you are, what your interests are, and how to spend your time. Whether just starting out or strengthening your skills, you are free to take the classes you love, or try something new. Each dancer can continue with the standards of ballet and tap for a solid foundation, but they can also add on popular styles of jazz, musical theater, lyrical and pointe. No matter what your goals are, we have classes that will fit.

Classical ballet is the foundation for all styles and is required for jazz and lyrical classes. Dancers will be stronger, more flexible and progress more rapidly when they continue Ballet studies.  Age is used as a guideline for placement, but experience is more often considered when selecting a level.

Classical Ballet: Emphasis on technique, stretch, flexibility, terminology, and pointe preparation.

Tap: Emphasis on basics, rhythms, technique, sounds.

Jazz: Emphasis on flexibility, technique, jumps, turns, and performance skills. Ballet enrollment is required.

Lyrical: Emphasis on flexibility, control, expressions along with techniques of ballet and jazz.  Ballet enrollment is required.

Monthly Tuition: First classes are full prices shown. Save 30% on each additional class taken.

     30 minute class - $57/month

     45 minute class - $79/month

     60 minute class - $95/month

"This will be my daughter's 10th year dancing with Creative Dance & Music Studio. Her confidence has grown so much this last year. Thanks to Mrs. Lori and her amazing staff for their dedication."

-Keisha (Proud Dance Mom)

“Creative Dance and Music Studio has become our home away from home over the last 6 years. My daughter enjoys attending classes and meeting new friends. I have watched her confidence grow as she progresses through each year with the help of her supportive instructors. This studio is very well organized and communicates often, which helps us to stay on task with important dates and events. The studio quickly adapted to the pandemic stay at home order and offered online classes so that skills and conditioning were not lost. Now that the studio has reopened, they adhere to CDC, state and local guidelines for the safety of all students and staff. Virtual classes were also offered in the event that students were not able to attend in person. I couldn't ask for a more family friendly studio.”
